Range Day: P365- X MACRO/X MACRO COMP/ FUSE/ AXG LEGION
We took the P365-X MACRO, X MACRO COMP, FUSE, & AXG LEGION out for a range day.
Each of these pistols are 9mm and hold 17+1 (extension magazines can be acquired) and all basically have the same frame. The noticeable differences being with the FUSE having an aggressive grip pattern and the AXG LEGION being a metal rather than polymer frame.
We did have a hiccup with the FUSE. The slide didn’t lock back after the final round was shot. After shooting through several different magazines. The issue seemed isolated with the 17 round magazine we used first. After a 21 round and another 17 round the slide locked back and the gun performed perfectly.
After shooting each model the favorites were the FUSE and AXG LEGION. The FUSE was a little easier to grip, it is lightweight and essentially a full size gun but slim, so smaller hands can grip and control more easily. The AXG LEGION was a favorite with our shooter that enjoys heavier guns as a rule.
