Shadow Systems CR920X Elite | Range Day Review
“Subcompact that carries like a micro but fights like a service pistol” is Shadow Systems tagline for their latest release, the CR920X. Initially we were doubtful that it would be much better than Glock’s 43X, but we were quickly convinced otherwise. Overall this pistol comes straight out of the box ready for business! Check out our review and let us know your thoughts on this sub compact that’s changing the game with 15+1 rounds!
When we first heard the specs, we admittedly had our doubts. However, after getting our hands on the CR920X and putting it through its paces, we were thoroughly impressed and quickly became convinced believers. The first shot right out of the box by Ricky Carrillo from Ratio Instructors, was dead on at 100 yards! As Ricky would say, this comes right out of the box with everything that needs to be done to your Glock.
This sub compact has a light rail and patented multi footprint optic cut slide. The longer grip gives full backstrap palm contact, and if you purchase the Elite series, multiple backstrap options will be included.
As far as looks go, we can’t complain there either! You have your choice of Shadow Systems bronze/black option or the standard black/black finish. The serrated slide not only looks cool, but gives great grip for racking the gun. The top serrations are a great feature if you’re in an emergency situation that you need to rack off of something. Tritium Front Night sights, with serrated rear sights provide a crisp picture that helps you to come right up on target.
